Amanda A. "Mandy" (Martel) Morin

Amanda “Mandy” A. (Martel) Morin, 101, of Belchertown, MA passed away surrounded by
her children on December 6, 2025, at Cedarbrook Village. Even until the end Amanda
thought always of her family constantly talking about her eleven siblings and her six
children, eight grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. Amanda is survived by
her sister Theresa “Terry”Dauphin and brother Joseph “Gerard”Martel and her beloved
children, Theresa (Trish Lafore) Morin, Rachel Morin, Robert (Tina) Morin, Michael (Carmen)
Morin, Diane (Sally Woodman) Morin, Carol (Tony) Marino.
Amanda was born in Saco Maine and married her true love Robert Morin and stayed
married until his passing in May of 2018. They celebrated seventy-three years of wedded
bliss. She now will spend eternity with the man she loved unconditionally. Her happiest
moments were Christmas Eves when she would play her accordion or organ while the
whole family gathered and sang Christmas songs. Amanda loved to play cards and have
cookouts, often combining those activities at ponds and lakes during the summer.
Amanda cherished her friendships developed throughout her life with most of these lasting
until parting. They included friends from Saco Maine, Lawrence Massachusetts, Goffstown
NH, Bonita Springs Florida and her friends in Ware MA who guided her to the end. She will
be missed by all.
Family and Friends are invited to join us on December 13, 2025, to pay their respects
starting at 9 AM followed by a Catholic Mass at 10 at St. Mary’s Church, 59 South St., Ware,
MA. A Memorial Luncheon will take place after the funeral mass at Cedarbrook Village. Inurnment, alongside her beloved Robert, will take place at a later date at Sarasota
National Veterans Cemetery. Special thank you for the caring staff at Cedarbrook Village
and VNA Hospice Care Team.
