Beatrice Theresa (Boisvert) Andrews, age 96, passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at Baystate Wing Hospital in Palmer after a short illness. Beatrice was born in the Aldenville section of Chicopee on January 16, 1929. She was the daughter of the late William Boisvert and Leonida (Goulet) Boisvert Couture. Beatrice was employed by the former Belchertown State School as a secretary for many years, prior to her retirement. She was a long-time resident of Granby and South Hadley, prior to moving to Ware in 1977. Beatrice was an avid knitter and crocheter, she made 100's of hats and was affectionately known as the "Hat Lady" for donating her hand made with love items to area hospitals. Beatrice was raised and educated in the Catholic Faith, attending Catholic High School and raising her children in the Catholic Faith. It was her strong faith that carried her throughout her long full life. Beatrice is survived by her loving children, her sons, Russel Cote, with whom she made her home, and Brian Cote, her daughter, Diane Andrews, and stepsons, Jamie Tarczynski and Raymond Andrews. She also leaves behind her grandchildren: Michelle, Brian, Benjamin, Daniel and Ashley, and 6 great-grandchildren, all a living legacy on Beatrice. Sadly, she was predeceased by her first husband, Michael Tarczynski in 1973, her second husband, Raymond J. Andrews in 2000, her former husband, Raymond J. Cote in 1999, her daughter, Sandra Lanier in 2010, and her stepdaughter, Diane Treadwell in 2012, as well as her brother, Norman Boisvert. Due to the extreme ice and snow conditions at Aspen Grove Cemetery, Beatrice's funeral services will take place inside of Cebula Funeral Home on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at 11:15 AM.
