Carole Marie (Geoffrion) Kent

 Carole Marie (Geoffrion) Kent age 85, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, March 10, 2024.  Carole was born in Ware on August 13, 1938, daughter of the late George and Anna (Campbell) Geoffrion.  She was raised and educated in Warren, Massachusetts and was a graduate of the former Warren High School.  On January 25, 1958 she entered into matrimony with Edward D. Kent, Sr., they were happily married for 66 years.  Carole has been a resident of Ware for 66 years. She was employed for 35 years as a cook for Palmer Healthcare.  Carole was a member of All Saints Church in Ware.  She loved camping, bowling, playing BINGO, going to the casinos and puzzles.  Carole enjoyed the birds and wild animals in her backyard, often naming the numerous skunks that would cross her yard. She will be remembered as a very caring and loving person.  Carole cherished her husband, children, grandchildren & great-grandchildren. Carole leaves behind her beloved husband of 66 years, Edward D. Kent, Sr., a daughter, Maureen Butcher and her husband Stephen, three sons, Edward Kent, Jr. and his wife Bonnie, Dana Kent and his wife Melanie, and David Kent and his wife Jennette.  She leaves behind her grandchildren:  Matthew Kent, Michael and Beth Kent, Heidi and Megan Harkins, Heather and Andrew Galonzka, Tiffany and Kyle Smith, Chelsea and Zachary Devlin.  Carole also leaves behind her great-grandchildren:  Avery, Charlotte, Aria, Caroline, Mila, Miles, Belle and Wyatt, and several nieces & nephews.  Besides her beloved parents, Carole was predeceased by her sisters, Kathleen Fountain and Barbara Barton.  A Memorial Visitation will take place on Saturday, April 20, 2024 from 10 AM - 12 Noon in the Cebula Funeral Home, 66 South St., Ware.  A Closing Prayer Service will take place at 12 Noon in the funeral home.
