Caroline May (Dupre) Mucha age 100, passed away in the comfort of her home on Tuesday, October 2, 2024, after a long full life. Caroline was born in Palmer, Massachusetts on November 15, 1923, daughter of the late Clarence John Dupre and Annabelle (Smith) Dupre. She was raised and educated in Palmer and was a graduate of Palmer High School in Palmer. On April 27, 1946, in the former St. Mary's Church in Thorndike, Caroline entered Holy Matrimony with Anthony S. Mucha of Ware. Caroline and Anthony made their home in Ware, and she was a resident for 78 years. She was a homemaker and assisted her daughter as a floral assistant for the former Carol Ann's Flower Shop in Ware. She was a member of St. Mary's Church in Ware and was an active member of its former Ladies Guild. Caroline gave of her time and talents for Ladies Guild functions along with her long-time friend Dee. Caroline loved card games, especially the weekly games with her friends Rita, Irene, Lillian, and Helen. Caroline also loved to play Pitch with her family and at holidays with the extended family and friends. She will forever be loved and missed by her family and all who knew her. Caroline leaves behind her loving daughters, Carol A. Soltys and Susan M. Mucha, her grandchildren, Lisa Navin and her husband Rick, and Gary Soltys and his wife, Kathleen. Caroline also leaves behind her great-grandchildren: Ashley Malnati, Erin Navin, John and Andrew Soltys and her many nieces and nephews who meant so much to her. Caroline was predeceased by her beloved husband, Anthony "Buddy" Mucha in 2006 and her four brothers and two sisters. A Calling Period for family and friends will take place on Friday, October 11, 2024, from 10:15 - 11 AM in the Cebula Funeral Home Chapel, 66 South St., Ware. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 11, 2024, at 11 AM in the funeral home chapel, Fr. Piotr Pawlus will preside. Burial will be held privately in St. Mary's Cemetery in Ware. The family will host a memorial reception at the home of Lisa and Rick Navin following the prayer service. Memorial Donations may be made to St. Mary's Church, 60 South St., Ware.
