Christina Chevalier Obituary

Christina Chevalier, age 77, of Ware, MA, passed away on March 4th, 2026.  She was the undisputed heart of her family, a woman whose life was defined by an unwavering devotion to the people she loved and a spirit that was as vibrant as it was kind. Her journey began alongside her high school sweetheart, Harold Chevalier.  Together for 56 years of marriage, they built a life rooted in a rare and enduring loyalty. Theirs was a once-in-a-lifetime love that only deepened with every passing decade, a true partnership that served as the foundation for everything they built together.  From their earliest days together, Christina was the “go-to” in the family; whenever someone was in need, she was the first person they called and the one who always showed up.  Even while raising her own children, she was the steady hand and the compassionate soul who kept her siblings and extended family supported through every season of life. Beyond her role as a caregiver, she was fun, funny, and loved to be silly.  She had a unique ability to lighten the mood and found so much joy in music, which often served as the soundtrack to her family life.  She truly believed that family is the most important thing in life and was never happier than when her house was full and her kids and grandkids were with her.  Watching them grow, sharing a laugh, and being part of their lives was her greatest joy and her proudest achievement. While her hands are now at rest, the foundation of love, laughter, and support she built over five decades remains as a testament to her strength.  Her life was the family’s heart and soul.  Christina Leaves behind her loving family, her husband Harold Chevalier, son Robert "Bob" Chevalier, daughters Shannon Meserole and Michele Chartier, grandchildren:  Joshua Chevalier, Dylan Chartier, Austin Meserole, Meghan Meserole, Brenna Chesley, Jack Fountain and Ashley Hedland-Blinn.  Christina also leaves behind her surviving siblings, Joan Allard and Sandra LaVallee.  Besides her parents, John Joseph Quink and Catherine Julia (Jezyk) Quink, she was predeceased by her siblings:  Robert, John, William, Edward, Charles, Dorothy, Beatrice, Barbara and Carol. A Private Memorial Mass was offered for her family.  Burial will be at the convenience of her family.  Cebula Funeral Home is assisting Christina's family with the final arrangements.  For more information and an online guest book, please visit:  www.cebulafuneralhome.com .
