Curt Edward Cournoyer

Curt Edward Cournoyer, age 53, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 in his home.  Curt was born in Springfield, Massachusetts on June 7, 1969, son of the late Conrad Charles Cournoyer and Susanne (Starling) Cournoyer.  Curt was raised and educated in Monson.  He was a Pathfinder Technical High School graduate, Class of 1987.  Curt began his working career at Firestone as a mechanic, he worked for Waste Management in Wilbraham, Tri County Recycling in Ware, and was recently employed by USA Hauling & Recycling.  Curt enjoyed playing pool and fixing cars.  He will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved him.  Curt is survived by his wife and life-partner, Dawn Ester (Hopkins) Cournoyer, with whom he married in August of 2022.  Curt leaves behind his children, who will forever miss him, his son, Timothy Daniel Aversa and his fiancee, Cheyanne Blake Litvinchyk, daughters, Autumn Cournoyer, Darcee Aversa, and Kaila Chipman.  He also leaves behind his granchildren:  Ivy Chipman, Aiden Chipman, Alana Chipman, Willow Chipman, Olivia Syphers, Noah Syphers, Emily Syphers, Antonio Aversa and Juels Warrick, his brothers Christopher Cournoyer and Charles Cournoyer.
