Diane Emily (Bousquet) LaBarge

Diane E. (Bousquet) LaBarge, 63, of Ware, MA, passed away surrounded by her loved ones, on November 10, 2023, at Spaulding Rehab Hospital, due to complications from Covid.

Diane was born in Ware to Simone (Lemoine) Brouillette and the late Robert Bousquet.

She leaves her husband William LaBarge of 19 years, her daughter, Jamie Lynn Horton, of Texas, her stepchildren Todd LaBarge of Florida, Tammy Tuttle and her husband John of West Brookfield; her siblings Robert Bousquet; Lu-Ann Routhier, Armando Bousquet, Jodi Brouillette, Dean Brouillette and predeceased by David Bousquet; her grandchildren Anthony Horton, Miya Horton, Emily Horton and her step grandson Taylor LaBarge. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and leaves behind many lifelong friends whom she loved dearly as well as her beloved dog Layla. 

Diane’s true passion was family, and she always enjoyed the yearly family reunions at Cape Cod. Diane would never turn down a good travel adventure and was always up for a game or two with family and friends. She had a special place in her heart for dogs and cats.

Diane received her bachelor’s degree from Bay Path College in Elementary Education.

For most of her life she was a resident of Ware and held various jobs but was most fond of teaching. She took advantage of every opportunity to be in the classroom.

Diane will be missed dearly by all of her loved ones.

Diane and Bill extend their sincere gratitude for those who helped pass the time during her stay at Spaulding, especially Jodi, Lu-Ann, Denise McKinnon and Lisa Marie Geck.
