Dorothy A. (Cullen) Boivin

 Dorothy A. (Cullen) Boivin, age 92, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2023 at Vantage of Wilbraham.  She was born in Stoughton, Massachusetts on October 5, 1930, daughter of the late William and Mary (Scavage) Cullen.  Dorothy lived in Ware for most of her life and graduated from Ware High School.  She leaves behind her son, Gary Boivin and his wife Donna of Guilford, CT, her daughter, Lori Cebula of Ware, three grandchildren; Jennifer (Cebula) Chaput of Ware, Christopher Boivin of South Lake Tahoe, Nevada, and Andrew Boivin and his wife Shannon of Guilford, CT.  Dorothy also leaves behind 2 great-grandchildren, Mason and Scarlett, and several nieces and nephews.  Sadly, Dorothy was predeceased by her loving husband Robert E. Boivin, her dear grandson, Daniel Cebula, her son-in-law, Michael Cebula, her grandson-in-law, John Chaput, her sister, Mary Cullen and her brother, William Cullen.  Dorothy worked at the former Wilson's Pharmacy in Ware for many years, and also, Ware Cooperative Bank, and Mary Lane Hospital.  She was also a volunteer at Mary Lane Hospital from 1995-2012.  Dorothy was an active communicant of All Saints Church in Ware.  A Calling Period will be held on Monday, May 1, 2023 from 9-10:30 AM in the Cebula Funeral Home Chapel, Ware.  A Funeral Mass will be offered at 11 AM on Monday, May 1, 2023 in All Saints Church, Ware.  Burial will follow in New St. William Cemetery, Ware.  In lieu of floral offerings, please make donations in Dorothy's memory to:  Beacon Hospice Care, 815 Worcester Street, Springfield, MA 01151.  For more information and online guest book, please visit:  www.cebulafuneralhome.com .
