Edward Buckley Gervais, age 82 passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at Baystate Wing Hospital in Palmer after an illness. Eddie was born in Ware on March 30, 1943, son of the late Theophane and Doris (Buckley) Gervais and was a lifelong resident. Raised and educated in Ware, Eddie was a 1961 graduate of Ware High School. He was employed for many years in construction for North American Bridge Company. Eddie was one of the original 12 that formed Club 12 of Ware and served as its treasurer. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing. Eddie will be lovingly remembered by his family and friends and sorely missed. He was a communicant of All Saints Church of Ware. Eddie leaves behind his loving sister, Parmelie McManamy, and sister-in-law, Audrey Gervais, along with special friends, Richie and Nancy Talbot and Bobby and Gail Arsenault, as well as many friends. Besides his parents, he was also predeceased by his brother Joseph B. Gervais in 2011, brother-in-law Richard "Mac" McManamy in 2001 and nephew, Douglas Edward McManamy in 1978. A Calling Period will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2026, from 9 - 10:30 am in Cebula Funeral Home, Ware. A Funeral Mass will be offered at 11 am in All Saints Church, Ware. Burial will follow in New St. William Cemetery, Ware. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to: American Red Cross, or to the Wildlife Sanctuary of Northwest Florida, 105 North S Street, Pensacola, Florida 32505 or a charity of one's choice.
