Edward W. Wolanik, born November 2, 1941, former resident of Bondsville and Belchertown Massachusetts passed away in Conway South Carolina on March 4, 2026, where he had been a resident the past 25 years. He was predeceased by his parents Walter and Violet (Dusza) Wolanik. He leaves behind many loving friends, cousins, and God daughter Katie Duke. Eddie was an Army Veteran stationed in Germany. He would go on to attend college at Heidelberg University and Boston University. Eddie was a 30-year employee of TV channel 40 out of Springfield Massachusetts. Eddie loved the simple art of conversation, saying people just don’t know how to talk to one another now. He enjoyed traveling, especially to Europe. Some of his other leisure activities he enjoyed throughout his life were bicycling, skiing, walking, reading, dining out, and sampling a good beer or wine. Eddie’s funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at 10;00 am in Divine Mercy Parish, Three Rivers. Inurnment will follow at Saints Peter and Paul cemetery Bondsville. Eddie will be missed greatly by family and friends.
