Frank Moryl, Jr., age 87 passed away suddenly in his sleep on Tuesday, April 22, 2025. Frank was born in Ware, Massachusetts on February 4, 1938, a son of the late Frank J. Moryl, Sr., and Anna V. (Podkowka) Moryl. He was raised and educated in Gilbertville, and after graduating from the former Hardwick High School he went on to earn an associate's degree. On September 26, 1960, Frank enlisted in the United States Air Force, and served his country proudly until August 14, 1963, when he was Honorably Discharged with the rank of Airman First Class. Frank was employed for many years as an Electronic Engineer and worked for Agilent Technologies of California. He was a long-time resident of San Jose, California and returned to Gilbertville 2o years ago. Frank enjoyed coin collecting, wood working, making bird houses, gardening and all types of technology. Frank loved his Bichon Frise dogs. He was a loving husband, grandfather, brother and friend. He was a devoted communicant of the Holy Cross Polish-National Catholic Church of Ware. His grandparents were co-organizers of its beginnings, and Frank took great pride in his church, and served for many years as its Financial Secretary. Frank leaves behind his heartbroken family, his loving wife of 28 years, Dawn J. (McVey) Moryl and his granddaughter, Carrie Abreu, as well as his last surviving sibling, Donald J. Moryl, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Sadly, besides his beloved parents, he was also predeceased by his sister, Elaine J. (Moryl) Nolan in 2016. A Requiem Funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at 1 pm in the Holy Cross Polish-National Catholic Church, Maple Street, Ware. Everyone will meet directly inside the church. Inurnment will follow the mass in Holy Cross Polish-National Cemetery, Belchertown Rd., Ware. There are no calling hours. Funeral Services are under the direction of Cebula Funeral Home, Ware.
