Gerard L. Ready

Gerard L. Ready, age 72 passed away on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield.  Gerard was born in Boston on March 5, 1953, son of the late Leo J. Ready and Lillian G. (Forbes) Ready.  Gerard is survived by two sons, and four grandchildren.  He was predeceased by his sister Barbara.  Cremation took place in Springfield Cemetery and Crematory.  His family will have a funeral mass offered on Thursday, February 12, 2026 in St. Mary's Church, Ware.  Burial will be at the convenience of his family.  Cebula Funeral Home of Ware is assisting Gerard's family with the cremation.
