Glen Moulton Obituary

Glen Peter Moulton, age 73 passed away at his home on Friday, December 15, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.  Glen was born in Ware on September 19, 1950, son of the late Charles A. Moulton, Jr and Bella T. (Morin) Moulton.  He was raised in Ware and graduated from Ware High School in 1968.  Glen enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1969 and was stationed at Westover Air Force Base in Chicopee. He was a well known and well respected real estate broker for Century 21.  Glen was known for his ever present smile, quick wit and infectious laugh.  He was the life of the party.  Glen loved the game of golf and was a longtime member of Dunroamin Golf Course and Ludlow Country Club and was employed at both golf courses. He was a jack of all trades, from electrical to plumbing to carpentry.  He loved tinkering in his garage and working in his yard.  Glen looked forward to his annual family hunting trips to the Moulton Camp in Maine. He loved his annual trips to Ogunquit with Kay and watching the classic westerns.  Glen loved and followed the Boston sports teams, especially the Bruins. He was a member of the Ware Knights of Columbus, Weir River Club, Aspen Street Rod & Gun Club and the former Gabe's Club.  Glen leaves behind his devoted wife, Mary Kathleen "Kay" (Lawrence) Moulton, sons; Garrett Moulton and his wife Amanda, Jonathan Moulton and his wife Olivia, and his daughter Erica Moulton. Glen also leaves behind his step children;  Anthony Shimansky who was Glen's caregiver, Amy Veneman and her husband Joseph, Nathan Shimansky and his wife Claire, and Sean Shimansky and his wife Emily.  Glen will be remembered by his grandchildren who called him "Tito" and "Pepere":  Scarlett, Grayson, Isabella, Genevieve and Vivian Moulton.  His step-grandchildren:  Grant and his wife Bethany and Megan Veneman, Kevin, Kathleen, Charlotte and William Shimansky. Glen leaves behind his siblings; Gary Moulton and his wife Lorna, Jeff Moulton and his wife Carol, Eric Moulton and his wife Alice, Robbie Moulton, Cheryl Dowell and Cynthia St. George and her husband Roy.  Glen's family would like to thank the wonderful and caring nurses and staff of Baystate Hospice, especially Darlene, Donna and Peter.  Calling Hours for Glen will take place on Friday, December 22, 2023 from 5 - 8 PM in the Cebula Funeral Home Chapel, 66 South St., Ware.  A Funeral Mass will be offered for Glen on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at 11 AM in All Saints Church, 17 North St., Ware, everyone will meet directly in the church on Saturday morning.  Burial will follow in Mount Carmel Cemetery in Ware.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to T 2 T and Kidney Cancer Research at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston.
