Gregory James Paquette, Sr., age 57 passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at his residence in Westfield. Greg was born in Holyoke, Massachusetts on February 24, 1967, son of Martha (Kelly) Paquette, and the late Richard Paquette. He was a Life Member of Chicopee Moose Lodge 1849 /Chicopee Moose Family Center. He is survived by his children; sons, Gregory Paquette, Jr., Adam Paquette and Anthony Halgas, his daughter, Monique Paquette, and three grandchildren: Adam Joseph Paquette, Jr., Aesop West Paquette, and Michael Gregory Paquette. Greg also leaves behind his mother, Martha (Kelly) Paquette, and his sister, Celeste Orszulak. Greg will be remembered by those who knew and loved him as a kind, selfless and loving father, grandfather, son, brother and friend. Sadly, Greg was predeceased by his loving wife, Laura M. (Morin) Paquette on December 14, 2004, his father Richard Paquette and his brother, Richard Paquette, Jr. A Visitation Period will be held for family and friends to gather and say goodbye on Friday, February 21, 2025, from 11am - 1pm in the Cebula Funeral Home, 66 South Street, Ware, MA. The Chicopee Moose Lodge 1849 will gather at 12 noon for a Farewell Ceremony. Following, Greg will be laid to rest next to Laura in St. Aloysius Cemetery in Gilbertville.
