Helen A. (Kmiecik) Kapinos

Helen A. (Kmiecik) Kapinos, age 94, passed away at Vero of Hampden Healthcare on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 due to complications of COVID-19.  She was born in Ware on December 21, 1925, daughter of the late Stanley and Magdalena (Czaja) Kmiecik and was a life-long resident.  She worked at the former Ware Knitters, Inc. several years ago, but was a homemaker for most of her life.  Her biggest joy in life was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Helen was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Ware.  She is survived by her beloved son, Stephen M. Kapinos and his wife Linda of Ware, her loving granddaughters, Tina Breault and her husband David of Ware, Angela Leathers and her husband Bradley of Ware, and Shelley Lander and her husband Peter of Vershire, Vermont.  She also leaves behind her cherished great-grandchildren, David and Sarah Breault, Isabel and Mayanna Lander and Ben Leathers.  Her beloved husband, Michael J.
