Helen V. (Koziol) Michalski has passed peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Friday, March 18, 2022. Recently celebrating her 100th Birthday with her family at her home on February 2nd. Helen was born in Ware, Massachusetts on February 2, 1922, daughter of the late Antoni Koziol and Anna (Misiaszek) Koziol. Helen was the loving wife of the late Joseph Michalski who passed away in September of 1997. Helen will be sadly missed by her family, son Michael Michalski and his wife Patricia of Warren, daughter Joanne Wyman and her husband Paul of Ware, Grandmother-Bachui to Jeffrey Michalski of Hardwick & Andrew Michalski of New Braintree, Christopher Wyman of Brattleboro, VT & Jessica Wyman of Spencer, Great-Grandmother to Cora & Vivian Michalski of Hardwick.
Helen was born, raised and passed away in Ware, living here her whole life.
She was pre-deceased by her parents, and her brother Benedict Koziol of Seattle, Washington.
After Helen graduated from high school, she attended a design school in New York.
Helen was employed fro many years for the former Ware Knitters, Inc. and she retired from the former Belchertown State School. Helen loved to bowl, taking bus trips, and local church picnics.
She was an avid Boston Red Sox Fan.
Helen spent many long hours making Polish Food, tons of Pierogi for the Holy Cross Church of Ware.
She was a life-long communicant of the Holy Cross Polish National Catholic Church of Ware, and was a member of its former Ladies Society for the Adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament.
Helen loved family outings and picnics with her adoring grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and family, playing games and having fun. She will be missed for her honesty, pranks and quick wit.

A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, March 28, 2022 at 11 AM in the Holy Cross Polish National Cemetery, Belchertown Rd., Ware.
