Helen Julia (Koziol) Miskiewicz

Helen Julia (Koziol) Miskiewicz, age 92, passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at the Chestnut Hill Nursing Home in East Longmeadow.  She was born in the Indian Orchard section of Springfield on December 18, 1929, daughter of the late Andrew and Julia (Krol) Koziol, and has resided in Ware for more than 60 years.  She graduated from the Immaculate Conception School in Indian Orchard and the former Springfield Technical High School.  Helen was employed for the MIlton Bradley Company in East Longmeadow in the product research and development department  for 37 years before retiring in 1989.  Helen was a devout communicant of St. Mary's Church in Ware and had been a member of its Rosary Sodality and its formerLadies Guild.  She volunteered for the former St. Mary's Carnival for many years.  She was a member of the Milton Bradley 25 Year Club and the former Ware Golden Agers.  Helen had a big heart, always helping everyone.  She will be missed by her family, her beloved nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.  She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband, Stanley J. Miskiewicz in 2005, her brothers, Stanley, Joseph and Theodore Koziol, and her sister, Mary Stachovich.  Many thanks are extended to her good neighbors and friends, and to the Chestnut Hill Nursing Home caregivers.  A Funeral Mass for Helen will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at 11 AM in St. Mary's Church, 57 South Street, Ware.  A Calling Hour will be held on Wednesday morning from 9:30-10:30 AM in the Cebula Funeral Home Chapel, 66 South Street, Ware.  Helen will be laid to rest, next to Stanley in St. Mary's Cemetery following the mass.  Memorial Donations may be made to St. Mary's Church, 60 South Street, Ware, MA 01082.  For more information and online guest book, please visit:  www.cebulafuneralhome.com .
