Ware - Helen E. (Ciukaj) Rzeznik, age 87, passed away suddenly on Saturday evening, April 12, 2025, at her home.  Helen was born on October 12, 1937 in Zalipie, Poland, daughter of the late John R. Ciukaj and Stefania (Wozniak) Ciukaj.  She was raised and educated in Poland and emigrated to the United States with her husband in 1964.  Helen worked hard her entire life, first, as a seamstress for the former Seven Sisters in Ware, and later as a staff attendant for the former Belchertown State School. She was a devout communicant of St. Mary's Church in Ware.  Helen sang for many years in its former Polish Choir with her late husband. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend.  She will be lovingly remembered and sorely missed by her children; son, George Rzeznik and his wife Alicia, daughters, Anna Courchesne and Diane LaForest and her husband David.  Helen also leaves behind her grandchildren; Joseph Harper, Jennifer Harper, Andrew Rzeznik, Dorothy Rzeznik, Daemeon LaForest and Lilly LaForest, and great grandchildren:  Mason Harper and Mirim Rzeznik.  She leaves behind her siblings, brother, Stanley Ciukaj and his wife Jean, sisters:  Claire Mazur and her husband Michael, Sophie Zajac and Martha Vachon and her husband Giles. Sadly, Helen was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Wladyslaw Rzeznik on April 14, 2021. A Funeral Mass for Helen will be offered on Monday, April 28, 2025 at 11 AM in St. Mary's Church, 57 South Street, Ware.  Fr. Charles Kuzmeski will preside.  Everyone will meet in church on Monday morning.  Helen will be laid to rest next to her husband following the funeral mass in St. Mary's Cemetery, Ware.  There are no calling hours.  Funeral Services are under the direction of Cebula Funeral Home, 66 South Street, Ware, MA.  For more information and an online guest book, please visit:  www.cebulafuneralhome.com
