Irene Carolyn (Machnik) Baronas

Irene Carolyn (Machnik) Baronas, age 93, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at Mercy Medical Center in Springfield.  Irene was born in Ware, Massachusetts on February 13, 1929, daughter of the late Stanley Machnik and Stephanie (Mazurek) Machnik.  She was employed for many years at the former Monson State School as a health care worker.  Irene is survived by her children; son, Larry Audette, and daughter, Nancy Guinn, her brothers, John Machnik and James Machnik, 3 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.  Sadly, Irene was predeceased by her husband, James Baronas, and her beloved daughter, Robin Christina Audette.  Irene will be laid to rest privately, by her family, next to her daughter Robin, in St. Mary's Cemetery in Ware.  Cebula Funeral Home of Ware is assisting her family with the final arrangements.  For more information and online guest book, please visit:  www.cebulafuneralhome.com.
