Obituary

Hardwick - James E. Harrington, age 52, of the Gilbertville section of Hardwick, passed away suddenly at home on Sunday morning, May 7, 2023.  Jim was born in Stamford, CT, a son of Julia (Williams) Lubelczyk and the late Frank Harrington.  Jim is predeceased by his brothers Thomas Harrington and Patrick Harrington, and sister, Patty Harrington.  Jim grew up in Gilbertville and was a life-long resident.  He graduated from Quabbin Regional High School in 1991.  Jim enjoyed playing pool, the outdoors, dirt bikes, four wheelers, and snowmobiles. Jim is survived by Julia  and Ed Lubelczyk, Murial (Harrington) and John Wimbush, Fran Harrington and partner, Aileen Kelly, Mandi (Lubelczyk) and Rich Souza, Joe Lubelczyk, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.  Jim will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.  Calling Hours will take place on Friday, May 19, 2023 from 4 - 6 PM at Cebula Funeral Home Chapel, 66 South Street, Ware, MA.  A Private Committal Service will be held in Aspen Grove Cemetery on Pleasant St., in Ware.  For more information and an online guest book, please visit:  www.cebulafuneralhome.com  .
