James P. Sullivan, age 85, passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at his home. He was born in North Brookfield, Massachusetts on July 29, 1934, son of the late Philip and Bridget (Rybak) Sullivan. James was the Vice-President of the West Brookfield Machine Co. where he worked for over 30 years before retiring in 1996. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal. James was a member of St. Mary's Church in Ware. He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Laura (Santos) Sullivan, his three loving daughters, Lorrie Rowan of Duxbury, Linde Skowronek of Belchertown, and Liane Gladkowski and her husband John of Palmer. He also leaves his sister, Phyllis Coulombe of Ware, 6 grandchildren: Neil, Stacy, Matthew, Maxwell, Jim and ALex, and 4 great-grandchildren. Calling Hours will be held on Friday, October 18, 2019 from 8:30 - 10:30 AM in the Cebula Funeral Home Chapel, 66 South Street Ware. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday, October 18, 2019 at 11 AM in St Mary's Church, 60 South St., Ware. Burial will follow in the Our Lady of La Salette Section of St. Mary's Cemetery in Ware.
