John Irving Fuller, age 95 passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 7, 2025. John was born on March 6,1930 son of the late Irving M. Fuller and M. Katherine (Malboeuf) Fuller. Raised and educated in Ware, he was a 1947 graduate of Ware High School. John was president of his graduating class. While at Ware High School, he was a member of its Oratory and Debate Club. John was also a member of its Baseball Team. A proud moment he often recalled was meeting Babe Ruth and Ted Williams during a lunch hosted to recognize students for both their academic and sports achievements. John carried on his father’s livestock business, I.M & J. I. Fuller, and was known throughout the region as a respected cattle dealer, a tireless worker, and an extraordinary storyteller. He rose early, worked hard, and often said that farming wasn’t just a job — it was a way of life. He continued working well into his later years, finally retiring at the young old age of 90. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 64 years, Barbara Joan (Wiley) Fuller, daughter Martha Whitehill and husband Dale; daughter Amy Heffernan and fiancé Gerald Greeley; grandsons: Kyle, Alex, and Adam. Besides his parents, John was predeceased by his brother Albert Fuller. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered — a true legend, a loving husband and father, and grandfather. A Celebration of John's long well lived life will take place on October 16th at the United Church of Ware at 10:30 am with refreshments following in Fellowship Hall. Cebula Funeral Home of Ware is assisting John's family with the final arrangements. For more information and an online guestbook, please visit: www.cebulafuneralhome.com .
