Ware - John Walter Mozgala,  passed away on Monday, April 29, 2024, at the age of 88.  John was born on March 24, 1936 in Chicopee, Massachusetts, son of the late John J. Mozgala and Caroline (Piekarz) Mozgala.  John was raised in Holyoke, Massachusetts and was a graduate of Holyoke High School.  John enlisted in the United States Navy on September 15, 1954.  He served with the Air Anti-Submarine Squadron.  John was Honorably Discharged from the Navy on September 8, 1958 with the rank of Aviation Electronics Technician Second Class.  John was a faithful communicant of St. Mary's Church in Ware.  Before retirement he was employed as a teacher, and was also employed in industry.  On June 22, 1963 John entered into Holy Matrimony with Patricia A. Orszulak.  John leaves behind his beloved wife of 60 years, Patricia A. (Orszulak) Mozgala, his loving daughter, Maureen Mozgala-Diskin and her husband John of East Otis, Massachusetts, his grandson, Michael Christopher Diskin, and a sister, Carol Sowa of Holyoke.  Sadly, John was predeceased by his beloved son, Michael J. Mozgala in 1991 and a brother, Francis F. Mozgala in 2013.  A Calling Period will be held on Monday, May 6, 2024 from 9 -10:30 AM in the Cebula Funeral Home Chapel, 66 South St., Ware, MA.  A Funeral Mass will be offered at 11 AM on Monday, May 6, 2024 in St. Mary's Church, 57 South St., Ware, MA.  John will be laid to rest with Military Honors following the funeral mass in St. Mary's Cemetery, Ware.  Memorial Donations may be made to St. Mary's Church, 60 South St., Ware, MA  01082.  For more information and an online guest book, please visit:  www.cebulafuneralhome.com .
