Jonas Jeremy Peterson

Jonas J. Peterson, age 43, passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2019 at his home after a brief illness.  He was born on November 18, 1975 in Honolulu, Hawaii, son of James and Susan (Bohlman) Peterson.  Jonas was a member of the U.S. Army National Guard where he served in the transportation unit driving trucks in Iraq on his tour of duty.  Upon his return from the service, he was employed as a truck driver, working for various trucking companies.  Besides his loving parents, James and Susan (Bohlman) Peterson, Jonas leaves his beloved wife of 13 years, Nancy L. (Harris) Peterson, two brothers, James Peterson, Jr., and Michael Peterson, three step-children, Amanda Harris, Norbert Berthiaume, Jr. and Dylan Berthiaume, his step-siblings, Mark, Christine, Priscilla and Benjamin Chevalier, and 5 step-grandchildren, Noelia, Malvin, Rosalyn, Lillian and Dylan, Jr.  Jonas' services with military honors will be held at the convenience of his family.  Interment will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery, Ware.  Cebula Funeral Home, has been entrusted with Jonas' final arrangements.
