Judy Maria (Zucco) LaPorte

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Judy Maria LaPorte at the age of 60. Judy was born in Springfield, Massachusetts on February 22, 1965, raised in West Springfield, Massachusetts by her loving parents, the late Peter and Pearl (Barre) Zucco. She lived most of her life in Ware, Massachusetts, where she passed away on March 19th, 2025, surrounded by her loving husband, sisters and sons. Judy was employed for 20 years as a home health aide, more recently with Amanda Senior Care. When Judy wasn't spending her time at work or with her family, she enjoyed her time sitting by the pool with her dog, Ellie by her side. Judy had mastered the art of knitting and always looked forward to a good opportunity to share her crafts with her loved ones. She also loved making homemade corn salsa, which she would make, can and share with those she loved. Judy was a kindhearted woman who never hesitated to tell people how things were. Judy and all her memories will be carried on by her husband, John of 36 years and three sons, Bradley, Christopher and Eric.  Judy also leaves behind her loving siblings; Dominic, Diane, Annette, Joanne and Barbara Zucco.  Judy was predeceased by her parents, Peter and Pearl, as well as her father-in-law, Orlando Joseph Laporte and mother-in-law, Shirley Theresa (Boyce) LaPorte. Judy's family wishes to send a heartfelt thank you to Compassus Hospice, especially, Tracy, Ashley and Shamika for their loving care.  A Memorial Visitation will take place on Saturday, March 29, 2025, from 10am - 12 noon in Cebula Funeral Home, 66 South Street, Ware, Massachusetts.  A Prayer Service with Words of Reflection will conclude the service at 12 Noon.  In lieu of floral offerings, memorial donations may be made to Compassus Hospice, 19 Midstate Drive, #130, Auburn, MA 01501.  Funeral Arrangements and Services are under the direction of Cebula Funeral Home of Ware.  For more information and an online guest book, please visit:  www.cebulafuneralhome.com .
