Obituary

Laurie Ann (Robertson) Eisenhauer, age 62, passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield.  Laurie was born in Boston on October 26, 1960, daughter of Loretta (Viveiros) Gardner  and the late Lawrence Robertson Sr. She was raised by her biological parents as well as her late stepfather, Edward Gardner, who loved her dearly.

She resided in Quincy, Massachusetts through her childhood, graduating from Quincy High School in 1978. She later lived in Abington, Massachusetts for many years, where she raised her 2 children with her former husband Milton Eisenhauer. When her kids were grown, she moved to Whitman, Massachusetts and then to Ware, Massachusetts where she has resided for the last decade.

Laurie worked for the National Fire Protection Association in Quincy, Massachusetts for years, and in recent times worked in childcare and house cleaning services for several clients in Western Massachusetts. She loved children very much, and so ran the Sunday School program at her church.

Laurie was also artistically inclined and hand crafted original jewelry pieces for sale in local shops. She loved gardening and took pride in her beautiful garden that she kept flourishing throughout the seasons. She had a baby chihuahua named Squirt, whom she adored.

She leaves behind her loving family; her mother, Loretta (Viveiros) Gardner, her daughter, Melissa J. Eisenhauer, her son Ryan J. Eisenhauer, daughter-in-law Alexa Eisenhauer and grandson Grant Eisenhauer. Laurie also leaves behind her siblings Lawrence Robertson Jr., Lorna Robertson and Lon Robertson, her nephew and Godson Justin Robertson, her niece Taylor Robertson, her step siblings David Gardner, Craig Gardner, James Gardner and Denise Meehan, as well as sisters-in-law Jennifer Robertson, Dayna Gardner, Dawn Gardner and Tammy Gardner, brother-in-law Joseph Meehan, multiple step nieces and nephews, and many extended family members and friends.

Laurie loved to give to others and would help anyone she could. In her last breathes, she still continued to give with her final generous gifts to those in need, as an organ donor. She successfully saved 4 different peoples’ lives in this selfless act of kindness.

Laurie was loved by many and will certainly be missed by all those whose lives she has touched.

Cremation took place in Springfield Cemetery & Crematory and a joint Memorial Service will be held at a later date for Laurie and her beloved stepfather, Edward Gardner.

Cebula Funeral Home of Ware is assisting her family with the final arrangements.  For more information and an online guest book, please visit:  www.cebulafuneralhome.com
