Linda Marie Claire (Blais) Papineau

Ware - Linda Papineau, 63, of Ware, passed away on Monday, August 4, 2025, at home after a short illness.  Born on March 21, 1962, in Branford, Connecticut, she worked as an Office Administrator, Credit Manager and bookkeeper for many years. She was preceded in death by her father, Marcel Blais, and stepfather, Claude Lessard.  She is survived by her mother, Suzanne Blais-Lessard; her sister, Julie Quink and her partner, Kevin Cislak; her sons, Aaron Guimond (Kerri Smith) and Jasper Guimond; her daughters, Em Papineau (Sofia Engelman) and Brooke Papineau; stepchildren, Jillian Papineau and Elaine Papineau; niece, Isabella Quink; grandchildren, Elliot and Paige; stepbrothers, Steve Lessard and Michael Lessard; and her loving dog, Sasha. Linda was a loving daughter, mother and sister.  She enjoyed spending time with family, loved to laugh, and loved animals, especially Lulu and Sasha. A funeral mass will be held at St. Aloysius Church, 64 Church Street, Gilbertville at 10am on August 16th. Everyone will meet directly in the church on Saturday morning.  Burial will be in St. Aloysius Cemetery, Upper Church Street, Gilbertville.
