Lorraine Maziarz

Lorraine Maziarz, age 84 passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at Holyoke Medical Center of natural causes.  Lorraine was born in Ware, Massachusetts on April 20, 1942, daughter of the late Mitchell Maziarz and Helen (Czaja) Maziarz.  She was a resident of Ware for most of her life until her mother passed away in 1987, at which time she moved to a group home.  Lorraine was preceded in death by her brother, Michael "Mickey" Maziarz and her sister, Judy Maziarz.  Lorraine was a child of God, she loved the simple things of life, coffee, attending St. Mary's Church, spending summers at the Ware Town Pool.  She liked car rides and helping her mother around the house.  Lorraine frequently helped her mother with her job of cleaning homes in Ware.  She loved to visit with family, going to the zoo, Yankee Candle trips, and going on vacation.  Lorriane leaves behind her sisters; Rosemarie Murphy of Ware, MA and Patricia Chabot of Suffolk, VA, and three nephews:  Richard Murphy of Ware, MA, Jonas Chabot of Ware, MA and Joshua Chabot of Suffolk, VA,  two nieces, Michaelena "Mikey" Murphy-Tapanes of Northampton, MA and Hanna Chabot of Suffolk, VA.  A Funeral Mass will be offered on Thursday, July 2, 2026 @ 10 AM in St. Mary's Church, 57 South St., Ware.  Inurnment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Ware.  Funeral arrangements are being  handled by Cebula Funeral Home of Ware.  For more information and an online guestbook, please visit: www.cebulafuneralhome.com .
