She was raised and educated in Gilbertville, and was a 1961 graduate of the former Hardwick High School. Mae Ellen also leaves her brothers, William Lavallee and Richard Lavallee, and her sisters, Joyce Russell and Barbara Francis. Mae Ellen's family wishes to thank all those who touched her life during her stay at Quaboag. To those who made her laugh, especially during the time of COVID, when her family could not be at her side. Thank you for putting a smile on her face, as she would always love to joke around. Mae Ellen's final wishes were to be cremated, with a private burial at the convenience of her family. Special thank you to the Cebula Funeral Home for taking care of Mae Ellen's arrangements.
