Marianne Gallagher, age 64 passed away peacefully with her sister and brother-in-law by her side on Sunday, December 28, 2025, at Cedarbrook Village. Marianne has been a resident of Cedarbrook since 2021. She was born in Yonkers, New York on September 9, 1961, loving daughter of the late James Gallagher and Marcella (Gerosa) Gallagher. Marianne was raised in Yonkers, New York, she graduated from Lincoln High School and received a bachelor's degree from Lemoyne College. She was employed by the County of Westchester as the Director of Resource Management, Department Environmental Facilities/Recycling. In 2005 Marianne was named "Person of the Year" by Westchester County Association of Municipal Public Works Administrators. Marianne resided for many years in Scarsdale, New York, and moved to Ware, Massachusetts in 2020. Marianne is survived by her daughter, Mia Rose Petronella, and her sisters; Karen Wojtusiak, Christine Wilkins and Joanne Eisenbach, as well as her former husband, Frank Petronella. Sadly, Marianne was predeceased by her brother, Michael Gallagher on May 28, 2025. Funeral Services for Marianne will take place on Saturday, January 3, 2026, with a Funeral Mass at 11 AM in St. Mary's Church, 57 South St., Ware, MA. A Viewing will take place from 9:30 am - 10:30 am in Cebula Funeral Home, 66 South St., Ware, MA. Burial will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, New York.
