Belchertown/Ware - Marie Theresa (Napolitano) LaFore entered into eternal life peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday, November 5, 2025. Marie was born on October 3, 1929 to the late Thomas and Mary (Maio) Napolitano. Marie was a woman before her time. She enjoyed playing volleyball as a young woman, and working a long career with New York State, all while raising a family. She made it all seem effortless and put everyone's needs before her own. Marie loved the beach and the ocean, spending many years with her husband, John, then her daughter Patricia and her partner Terry in South Carolina. She could sit in the blazing hot sun longer than all of them, often reading and enjoying the peaceful calm of the ocean and the beautiful sun, waves and sand. Marie was a fantastic cook, often making multiple meals to please everyone. In her years since moving to Massachusetts, she became an "adventurous eater", always willing to try things that were new. Above all, Marie was kind and gentle. A woman of few words, but always devoted, loving and caring, especially to her family. Marie was predeceased by her beloved husband, John F. LaFore and her parents, Thomas and Mary. Marie is survived by her children: John (Jean) of Colonie, NY, James (Marybeth) of Albany, NY, Patricia (Terry) of Belchertown, MA, and Patrick (Krasi) of North Attleboro, MA. In addition, Marie is survived by 6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. On Friday, November 14, 2025, there will be a visitation with family, at Cebula Funeral Home, Ware, Massachusetts from 9 am - 10:30 am. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday, November 14, 2025, at 11 am in St. Mary's Church, Ware. Marie will be escorted home to her final resting place, St. Agnes Cemetery Mausoleum, on Saturday, November 15, 2025. There will be a Prayer of Committal at 9:30 am at the Mausoleum. In lieu of floral offerings, you may contribute in Marie's memory to the United Church of Ware Food Program, or to the Employee Fund at Cedarbrook Village in Ware. The family wishes to thank Care Central Hospice and Cedarbrook Village Staff for the kindness and care shown to our mom and all of us during these past few weeks.
