Marsha Edna (Lemon) McManus

Marsha Edna (Lemon) McManus, age 70, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed  away on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield.  Marsha was born in Ware on February 18, 1952, daughter of the late Edwin Lemon and Marguerite E. (Cady) Lemon.  She was raised and educated in Ware, and was a life-long resident of this town.  Marsha was employed for many years at the former Dornan Mills in Ware.  She retired from the Town of Ware School Department, where she served as a special needs teacher.  In 1971 Marsha entered into marriage with Kirk William McManus.  Marsha is survived by her beloved husband, Kirk William McManus, her son, Philip McManus,  her daughter, Alicia Barton, two grandchildren; Fiona and Calvery.  She also leaves behind her sisters:  Jean Bowler, Carol LeDuc, Audrey Burke, Marilyn"Chippy" Supczak, and Sharon "Sally" Lavallee.  Marsha was pre-deceased by her brother, Pete Lemon and sisters, Gail Ward, Judith Boynton and Laurel Smalley.  Cremation took place in Springfield Cemetery and Crematory.  Final services will be at the convenience of Marsha's family.  There are no calling hours.  Cebula Funeral Home has been entrusted with the final arrangements.  For more information and online guest book, please visit:  www.cebulafuneralhome.com .
