May (Macuga) Dudek, age 99, passed away peacefully, on Thursday evening, May 7, 2020 at Life Care Center of Wilbraham, after a long life. May was born, Mary M. Macuga on March 1, 1921, a beloved daughter of the late Frank Macuga and Viola (Pisarski) Macuga-Dudek. She was raised and educated in Ware, and was a life-long resident of the community. May was employed for many years at the former Ware Knitters. She was a member of the Holy Cross Polish National Catholic Church of Ware. May was predeceased by her husband, Leon J. Dudek, who passed away in 1968, her beloved parents, Frank in 1937, and Viola in 1997, brother, Henry Macuga in 2011, and sister, Irene Tombor in 2000. She leaves behind her niece, Linda T. Richards and her husband Gene of Belchertown, and great-nieces and their families. Cremation took place in Springfield Cemetery and Crematory. Cebula Funeral Home was entrusted with May's final arrangements.
