Michael Joseph Ryan

Palmer - Michael Joseph Ryan, age 65, passed away suddenly on Monday, January 20, 2025, at UMass Memorial Medical Center, University Campus in Worcester.    Mike was born in Boston on November 25, 1959, son of the late Joseph and Jolene (Harlow) Ryan.  He was raised and educated in Chicago, Illinois. Mike has been a resident of Palmer, Massachusetts since 1995.  He was employed at DXP Enterprises, Inc. of Houston, Texas, and as a Regional Manager for Primetals Technologies USA, Sutton, MA.  Mike previously worked for the William E. Wright Company for many years. He was an avid sports fan of the New England Patriots and the Chicago Cubs.  Growing up in Chicago, Mike always had a special place in his heart for the Chicago Cubs.  He enjoyed horse racing, and he often picked horses which often reflected his sense of humor.  His family and friends will always remember him as a thoughtful, caring man, who was always there to lend a helping hand. Rest in Peace Mike!  Mike leaves behind his wife of 27 years, Cynthia M. (Czabaj) Ryan, his son, Steven Ryan and his wife Aidan, his grandchildren:  Cali, Brinn, and Sam all of Mansfield, Texas, and his brother, Paul Ryan of Des Plaines, Illinois. He also leaves behind his in-laws, brother-in-law, Wally Czabaj and his wife Nancy, and sister-in-law, Marianne McGee and her husband Tom, many nieces, nephews, and their children, who he thought very much of.  Besides his parents, Mike was also predeceased by his brother, Kenneth Ryan. Cremation took place in Springfield Cemetery and Crematory.  Per his final wishes, no other services will be held.  Cebula Funeral Home of Ware is honored to assist his family with the final arrangements.  For more information, and an online guest book, please visit:  www.cebulafuneralhome.com .
