Ware - Michael A. "Mike" Kowalski, passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2022 surrounded by the love of family at Umass Memorial, Worcester, Massachusetts at the age of 56.  Mike was born in Ware on September 5, 1966, son of Anthony "Dick" Kowalski and Marcia (Kozik) Kowalski.  He was raised and educated in Ware, and was a graduate of Ware High School, Class of 1984.  He continued his education at United Technology and after certification, he began his career as a Auto Technician a total of 35 years of service.  Starting at the former Gene Motors in Palmer, then for the former Brookfield Motor Sales, and ending his career with 29 years at Guzik Motor Sales in Ware.  Sadly, Mike's career ended due to the illness Lymphedema.  Mike leaves behind his father, Dick Kowalski, and his mother, Marcia (Kozik) Kowalski, and brother, Kenneth Kowalski.  Mike was predeceased by his loving grandparents; Henry and Felixa (Gaj) Kozik, and Tony and Genevieve (Jolda) Kowalski, and his maternal uncle, Danny Kozik.  A heartfelt thank you to those at UMASS Memorial and the Wound Center in Charlton for the care they gave Mike in his final days.  Mike's real passion in life was Vermont Snowmobiling, and drag racing at Lebanon Valley, NY with his 1970 Plymouth Duster "The Neighborhood Nuisance".  A last special note to the "Boulevard Bombers" from Mike, "Thanks for the ride!".  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the "Friends of Ware Town Hall" or the Young Men's Library, Ware.  Final Services for Mike will be at the convenience of his family.  The Koziol Family of Cebula Funeral Home is assisting Mike's family with the final arrangements.  For more information and online guest book, please visit:  www.cebulafuneralhome.com .
