Michael F. Cebula, age 68, passed away suddenly in his home on Sunday, December 18, 2022, with his family by his side. Michael was born on May 13, 1954, son of Madeleine A. (Sorel) Cebula, and the late Robert F. Cebula. He was raised on South Street and Oak Ridge Circle in Ware. Michael graduated from Ware High School in 1972. His first job was at Pete's Gas Town in Ware, a memory he often shared with his family. He joined his father as an Insurance Agent at the Frank M. Cebula Insurance Agency on Main Street in Ware in 1975. Michael took over the Insurance Agency in 2005, and moved to North Street and operated the Cebula Insurance Agency until January of 2022 when he retired. On September 11, 1976 in All Saints Church in Ware, Michael entered into Holy Matrimony with Lori A. Boivin, together they have been married for 46 years. Mike was a member of the former White Eagle Club of Ware, he enjoyed bowling, fishing the Ware River, wood working, gardening and watching the horse races. He was a coach for Little League Baseball, and Ware Youth Soccer. Mike loved Las Vegas, and traveled there often to play Black Jack and Poker. Michael leaves behind his loving wife of 46 years, Lori A. (Boivin) Cebula, his loving daughter, Jennifer Chaput, his mother, Madeleine A. Cebula, his sister, Roberta Lussier and her husband Mark, his brothers, David Cebula and Christopher Cebula and Gwen Letendre. Mike also leaves behind his mother-in-law, Dorothy Boivin, brother-in-law, Gary Boivin and his wife Donna, step-mother, Ellie Cebula, nephews and nieces, cousins and friends. Sadly, Michael was pre-deceased by his beloved son, Daniel R. Cebula in 2002, his father, Robert F. Cebula in 2016, father-in-law, Robert Boivin in 2012, and son-in-law John Chaput in 2013. Michael's family takes comfort that he is now reunited with all those who have gone before him, and his beloved black lab, Chance. A Calling Period will be held on Friday, December 23, 2022 from 10 AM - 11:30 AM in the Cebula Funeral Home Chapel, 66 South St., Ware, MA. Michael will be laid to rest next to Danny in New St. William's Cemetery following the Calling Period.
