Neftali Bedoya Vasquez

Neftali Bedoya Vasquez, age 85, beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother, passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield.  Neftali was born in Medellin, Columbia on May 22, 1936.  He was the son of the late Augustin Bedoya and Cruzana Vasquez.  Neftali emigrated to the United States of America in 1971, and has been a resident of Palmer since 1985.  He was employed as a painter for Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley from 1971-2001.  Neftali leaves behind his beloved wife of 56 years, Noralba (Restrepo) Bedoya, his sons, Juan Esteban and Freddy Bedoya, along with his grandsons, William Joseph Bedoya and Jacob Alexander Bedoya.  He also is survived by his siblings:  Estanislao, Juvenal, Lubin, Gabriela, Irma, Efren and Cecilia.  Neftali was pre-deceased by his siblings, Blas Emilio, Anna Rita, Silveria and Hernan.  Calling Hours will be held on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 from 6 - 8 PM in the Cebula Funeral Home Chapel, 66 South Street, Ware, MA.  A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at 11 AM in St. Mary's Church, 57 South Street, Ware, MA , Fr.
