Patricia Sandra "Sandy" (Batsie) Gallant

Patricia Sandra "Sandy" Gallant, age 79, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at Quaboag Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center in West Brookfield.  Patricia was born on June 1, 1942 in Ware, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Joseph R. Batsie and Hilda (Roy) Batsie.  She was the Co-Owner of the Wedgewood Motel in Palmer with her late life-partner James V. Federico from 1980-2001.  Prior to that she was a housekeeper for Amherst College for many years. She loved her cats and enjoyed many trips to the Casino.  Patricia leaves behind her brother, John Batsie of Illinois, several nieces and nephews, and her life-long dear friends and care-takers, Stanley Lamb, Sr., Genevieve Lamb, Stanley Lamb, Jr., and Nicholas Lamb.  Sadly, Patricia's life-partner, James V. Federico passed away on May 10, 2003.  A Graveside Service with Prayers of Committal will take place on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 2 PM in New St. William's Cemetery in Ware.  A special thanks to all of her caretakers at the Quaboag Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center in West Brookfield, for lovingly caring for her.  Cebula Funeral Home-Ware was entrusted with the final arrangements.  For more information and online guest book, please visit:  www.cebulafuneralhome.com
