Peter Brook Ruggles

Peter Brook Ruggles, age 68 passed away on Friday evening, January 24, 2025, at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield.  Peter was born in Ware, Massachusetts on September 5, 1956, son of the late Louis H. Ruggles and Sarah A. (Brown) Ruggles.  He was raised and educated in Hardwick and was a 40-year resident of Gilbertville.  Peter was employed by the Palmer Foundry, prior to retirement.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.  He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.  Peter is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Debra A. (Guillette) Ruggles, his granddaughter, Natalie Sullivan, his brother, Timothy Ruggles and sister, Ann Wood. Besides his parents, Peter was predeceased by his son, Eric Ruggles on May 27, 2024.  Per Peter's wishes, cremation took place in Springfield Cemetery and Crematory.  Cebula Funeral Home of Ware is assisting his family with the final arrangements.  For more information and an online guestbook, please visit:  www.cebulafuneralhome.com .
