Richard Gauvin age 69, passed away on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at Baystate Wing Hospital in Palmer. He was born on September 9, 1951 in Southbridge, Massachusetts to the late George Emile Gauvin and the late Germaine (Beaulieu) Gauvin. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Darlene (Gratton) Gauvin, sons Jason Gauvin and his wife Andrea of Westfield, Eric Gauvin and his wife Lisa of Ware, and Daryl Gauvin and his partner Michelle of Ware, and several grandchildren. Richard also leaves his brother, Armand Gauvin of Ware, two sisters, Yvonne Harvey of Monson, and Marie Ann Lambert of Florida and several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his brothers, Roger Gauvin, Robert Gauvin, and Adrien Gauvin, sisters, Pauline Bandeka and Adrienne Gauvin, and one nephew, Robert Gauvin. Richard was a 1972 graduate of Tantasqua Regional Vocational High School. He worked as a house builder for Ed Artruc, and was employed by J & I Window Sales, Zero Corporation, William E. Wright Company, and Quaboag High School for many years. In 1999 he opened and operated Glass & More, Inc. Richard was a former Boy Scout Leader. A Memorial Visitation for Family and Friends will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2021 from 10 AM - 12 Noon in the Cebula Funeral Home Chapel, 66 South Street, Ware. Richard will be buried privately following the Memorial Visitation, in Pine Grove Cemetery in West Brookfield.
