Rosalia Marie (Lizak) Borowiec

 Rosalia Marie (Lizak) Borowiec, age 86, passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter in Magnolia, Texas on Thursday, October 19, 2023.  Rosalia was born in Poland on December 19, 1936, daughter of the late Bronislaw and Stefanie (Skoczlas) Lizak.  She was raised and educated in Poland and emigrated to the United States in 1957 at the age of 21.  She entered into Holy Matrimony with the late Edward F. Borowiec, Sr. and was happily married until he passed away on May 24, 2003.  Rosie was a long-time resident of Warren, and has lived in Magnolia, Texas for the past year and a half.  She was "Babci", she was "mom" she was "Rosie"....she was the pierogi lady, the golombki lady, the kielbasa lady.  Whatever you called her, you couldn't help but smile when you were with her.  To her children and grandchildren and friends, she was the greatest mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend any family could have.  She brought such a vibrance to each and every day, with a huge "Good Morning!".  We her family were blessed to have had her in our lives for her 86 years!  She will be forever loved and missed.  Rosie leaves behind her children; son, Edward F. Borowiec, Jr of Evans, Georgia, daughters; Christine Rundlett and her husband John of Grapevine, Texas, and Pauline Borowiec Hand and her husband Eric of Magnolia, Texas, seven grandchildren:  Abigal, Lauren, Andrew, Stephanie, Matthew and Alexander and Mitchell.  She also leaves behind two great-grandchildren:  Jack and Alex, and her brother Stefan Lizak of West Warren.  A Funeral Mass will be offered on Monday, October 30, 2023 at 10 AM in St. Stanislaus Bishop & Martyr Church, Main St., West Warren.  Rosalia will be laid to rest next to her husband Edward in St. Paul's Cemetery in Warren following the funeral mass.  There are no calling hours.  Massachusetts funeral arrangements are under the direction of Cebula Funeral Home of Ware.  Texas funeral arrangements were under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home of Magnolia, Texas.  For further information and an online guest book, please visit:  www.cebulafuneralhome.com .
