On Sunday, February 25 th , Heaven gained an angel when Rosemary E. DeFronzo arrived and is no longer
suffering after a long illness. Born in 1942 to Lillian (Lussier) and Michael Malone, Rosemary spent most
of her years in Massachusetts with her loving husband Morando DeFronzo and her loving son Steven.
Rosemary worked hard her entire life and in 1989 saw a dream come true when she opened Advanced
Telemessage Service in Feeding Hills. She successfully owned and operated the business until 2018 when
she sold it to her longest employee, and very good friend Nancy Cardaropoli.
Rosemary loved animals, including Miss Kitty, who she rescued and was her constant companion with
the little heart on her belly who gave Rosemary laughs and love until the day she passed. She loved
gardening, house plants, shopping, playing cards and had a passion for travel, especially with beloved
nieces Julie and Ellen.
Rosemary loved her family and friends and enjoyed family gatherings, especially the amazing and fun
events she would host at Christmas and in the summer. Rosemary loved spending time with her many
nieces and nephews, and grand-nieces and nephews.
Rosemary also had a passion for nature and loved living at her mountain home in Belchertown where
she would take photos of the glorious landscape that was her daily view.
Rosemary was more than an Aunt to her nieces Patti Armstrong (husband Ralph) of Connecticut, Julie
Cole (husband Brad) and Ellen O’Connor of Massachusetts, and Kimberly Morin (husband Richard) of
New Hampshire. She was a 2nd Mother to all of them and the sister to their Mothers, Marilyn and
Kathleen.
Rosemary was one of seven children in her family and has joined many of her siblings in Heaven –
Michael Malone and his wife Corinne, Marilyn Boudreau, Robert Malone, Judith Houk and her husband
Joe, and Kathleen Garrow.
Rosemary is survived by husband Morando DeFronzo; her son Steven DeFronzo, and her brother John
(Jack) Malone of Florida and his wife Hermie. She is also survived by brother-in-law Ken Garrow and
sister-in-law Ann Malone. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, their husbands and wives
and their wonderful children who Rosemary treasured and who all adored her.
Services for Rosemary will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024 from 1-3 PM at Cebula Funeral Home in Ware, Massachusetts with a
prayer service being held at 2:00 PM.
