Bottling and then Coca Cola Bottling business with its humble start on Marjorie Street in Ware, later moving to East Street, in what is now Guzik Motors, and at Krol's Orchards of West Brookfield, a business he eventually owned and operated as a producing apple and pear farm, for many years in addition to his primary work in the construction field.  Rudy also enjoyed his years spent in local government, serving on the Ware Finance Committee and as a Water Commissioner, during his long lifetime in Ware.  He was a member of the former White Eagle Society and Social Club of Ware, the Weir River Club and the American Legion Post as well as the VFW.  Predeceased by his former wife, Gloria (Ciejka) Krol, his son Patrick and grandson, Joseph Girard.  Rudy leaves behind his son, Stephen Krol and his wife, Laura of Poulsbo, WA, daughter, Brenda Park of Ware, daughter Carol Girard and her partner, Jeff Moulton of Ware.  He also leaves behind his grandchildren and great-grandchildren:  Candace Girard, Jocelyn Girard and her son Elias, Andrew Girard; Jessica Bolduc and her daughter, Audrey, Leslie Little and her husband Greg, and sons, Justin and Jett; Olivia Krol and Annika Krol, Patricia Krol and Patrick Krol, Jr. and Mark Martinez.  The family would like to thank the staff and new friends Rudy made in his later years at the Ware Senior Center for the kindness and support they provided.  Additional thanks to the staff at Quaboag Rehabilitation and Skilled Care who made his final days comfortable and peaceful.  A Graveside Service with Military Honors and Prayers of Committal will take place on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 10 am in St. Mary's Cemetery (Our Lady of LaSalette Section) Ware.  Funeral Services and Arrangements are under the direction of Cebula Funeral Home, Ware.  For more information and an online guest book, please visit:   www.cebulafuneralhome.com .
