Ruth M. (Frigon) Pulchtopek

Ruth M. (Frigon) Pulchtopek, age 91, passed away on Friday, November 15, 2024, at Vantage at Hampden Nursing Home in Hampden.  Ruth leaves behind her daughter, Karen Curylo and her husband Paul of Ware, a grandson, Zachary Curylo and his wife, Elizabeth, and one great-grandchild, Ivy of South Hadley.  She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Francis Pulchtopek, who passed away on December 18. 1985, her five brothers:  Albert, Henry, Paul, Donat "Bobby", Delano "Del" Frigon and her six sisters: Blanche Johnson, Evelyn Salvatore, Irene Higgins, Doris Cournoyer, Theresa Frigon and Mabel Pulchtopek (her fraternal twin). Ruth was born in Spencer; she was the daughter of the late Charles and Sadie (Terroy) Frigon.  She was employed by several of the former Ware Mills before being employed by Wilton's Children's Store as a cashier for many years prior to her retirement.  Ruth was a faithful Catholic and was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Ware.  Calling Hours will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2024, from 4 - 6 PM in the Cebula Funeral Home, 66 South St., Ware.  A Funeral Mass will be offered for Ruth on Friday, November 22, 2024, at 10 AM in St. Mary's Church, 57 South St., Ware.  Everyone will meet directly in the church Friday morning.  Burial will follow the funeral mass in St. Mary's Cemetery, Ware.
