Ruth Priscilla (Konieczny) Skutnik

Ruth Priscilla (Konieczny) Skutnik, age 84, passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2022 at Palmer Healthcare Center in Palmer.  Ruth was born in Ware, Massachusetts on March 3, 1938, daughter of the late John M. Konieczny and Bernice D. (Parda) Konieczny.  She was raised and educated in Ware, and was a graduate of Ware High School in 1956.  On October 31, 1959 she entered into Holy Matrimony with William S. Skutnik.  Ruth was employed as the secretary and administrative assistant for the former Ware Lumber Company for many years, prior to retirement in 2005.  She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Ware.  Ruth is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years, William S. Skutnik, her son, John Michael Skutnik and his wife, Kirsten Weldon, son-in-law, Garrett Keegan, grandchildren; Olivia Skutnik, Lauren Keegan, Gwendolyn Skutnik and Meghan Keegan, and her great-granddaughter, Della Jayne.  Sadly, Ruth was predeceased by her beloved daughter, Debra A. Keegan in 2019, and her sister, Joan Edwards in 2020.  Cremation took place in Springfield Cemetery in Springfield.  Per Ruth's family wishes, no other funeral service or burial will be held.
