Sharon Eileen (Dorval) Newton

 Sharon Eileen (Dorval) Newton, age 77, passed away on July 8, 2021 in Baystate Medical Center in Springfield.  Sharon was born on June 12, 1944 in Albany, New York, one of 14 children of the late Ralph and Anne (Anderson) Dorval.  She resided in the Gilbertville section of Hardwick for many years before moving to Palmer two years ago.  Sharon was employed as a Personal Care Assistant for North East ARC. Sharon was a parishioner of St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Palmer.   She was a beloved wife, mother, step-mother, sister, grandmother and friend. Ma will especially be missed by her three grandchildren, Zach, Callie and Sophia.  Sharon leaves behind her husband of 39 years, Richard Newton, her sons, JohnTweedie and Daniel Tweedie, her daughters, Julienne Fragkiadakis and Alicia Tweedie, her step-children:  Richard Newton, Marlene Cole, Michelle Dodge and Melissa Martin, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Sharon also leaves behind her surviving siblings:  Lezette Dorval, Linda Gurski, Joel Dorval, Pierre Dorval, Gisiel Hampden, Christine Spease and Laverne Charette.  Sadly, Sharon was pre-deceased by her sons, Scott Tweedie and Gerald Tweedie, her granddaughter, Kayla Centoni and great granddaughter, Annabelle Marie, and her siblings:  Joyce, Jerry, Alicia, Patricia, Ralph, Victor and Carl.  Cremation took place in Springfield Cemetery and Crematory.  There are no other services planned at this time.  Cebula Funeral Home of Ware is assisting her family with the final arrangements.  For more information and online guest book, please visit:  www.cebulafuneralhome.com .
