Vanessa Jean (Domey) Richardson

Vanessa Jean (Domey) Richardson, age 61, passed away on September 13, 2022 at Harrington Hospital in Southbridge.  Vanessa was incredibly brave and positive throughout her illness.  Born in Ware, Massachusetts to Joan (Barszcz) Lavigne and the late Thaddeus A. Domey, she was a graduate of Ware High School.  She worked in the past as a medical assistant and paralegal.  Vanessa was once a breeder of Shihtzus.  She was a true animal lover, and owner of several cats and dogs.  Vanessa leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Sarah (Richardson) Balicki and her husband Ryan of Wilbraham, Massachusetts.  She also leaves behind her beloved granddaughters, Rylee and Zoe Balicki and was looking forward to meeting her grandson in October.  She also leaves behind the love of her life, Robert C. Belliveau.  In addition, she leaves behind her mother, Joan Lavigne of Warren, Massachusetts, and her sister, Ellen Pilch and her husband David of Ware, Massachusetts.  She also leaves five brothers:  Teddy Domey and his wife Kathy of Florida, Timmy Domey and his wife Joanne of Maine, David Domey and his wife Joanne of New Hampshire, Joseph Domey and his wife Deana of Wakefield, Massachusetts, and Christopher Domey and his wife Amber of Lynn, Massachusetts.  Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was pre-deceased by her step-father, Raymond Lavigne, her father, Thaddeus Domey, her step-mother, Adelle Domey, as well as a sister, Adelle Domey.  Services are private at the request of the deceased.  Cebula Funeral Home of Ware is entrusted with the final arrangements.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dakin Humane Society or The Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation.  For more information and online guest book, please visit:  www.cebulafuneralhome.com .
