Voight Mae (Worcester) Freeman, age 85, passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at Palmer Healthcare Center in Palmer. Voight was born in Prentiss, Maine on March 29, 1939. She was the daughter of the late Ronald Worcester and Evelyn (Worcester) Worcester. She was raised and educated in Maine. Voight resided in Lincoln, Maine and Spencer, Massachusetts for many years, prior to moving to West Brookfield four years ago. She was employed for many years as an attendant for the former Belchertown State School. Voight leaves behind her sons; Bruce E. Ryder and Gerald E. Freeman, Jr., her daughter, Donna Fitzgibbon, brother, Ronald Doane, 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Gerald E. Freeman, Sr., in 2016. Cremation took place in Springfield Cemetery and Crematory. Burial will take place in Locust Grove Cemetery in Hampden, Maine at the convenience of her family.
