Walter Zemojtel Obituary

Walter Henry Zemojtel, age 65, passed away just after noon on Monday, September 25, 2023 in Baystate Wing Hospital in Palmer.  Walter was born in Ware on May 19, 1958, he was the son of the late Alexander Zemojtel and Ruth (LaMay) Zemojtel.  He was raised on Williams Street in Ware, educated in the school system and was a graduate of Ware High School.  On July 25, 1978 Walter enlisted in the United States Navy.  He served on the USS Sperry AS-12, and was discharged from the United States Navy on September 24, 1982 with the rank of HTFN.  Walter was employed for many years as a wire worker for Profiles, Inc.  He is survived by his fiancee, Patricia Beaulieu, brothers; Alexander Zemojtel and Robert Zemojtel, and a nephew Robert A. Zemojtel. Walter was predeceased by his father, Alexander in 1981, mother, Ruth in 2008 and brother, Kenneth in 2019.  A Calling Period will be held on Friday, September 29, 2023 from 5 - 7 PM in the Cebula Funeral Home Chapel.  A Military Honors Ceremony will take place in the garden area of Cebula Funeral Home at 6:30 pm.  Walter's ashes will be scattered at sea at the convenience of his family.  For more information and an online guest book, please visit: www.cebulafuneralhome.com
