Wanda Ann (Devanski) Dion

Ware - Wanda Ann (Devanski) Dion, age 75, passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2021 at St. Francis Rehab and Nursing Center in Worcester.  Wanda was born in Ware, Massachusetts on December 13, 1945, daughter of the late Thadeus J. Devanski and Stella R. (Banach) Devanski.  She was raised and educated in West Warren, and graduated from Quaboag High School in 1963.  Wanda furthered her education by earning an Associates Degree from Springfield Technical Community College.  She was employed as a contract manager for the University of Massachusetts for 33 years, prior to retirement.  Wanda leaves behind to cherish her memory, her son David Dion of Warren, her daughter Tina Lange of Northbridge, her grandchildren, Ashley Richard, Cassandra Dion, Nicholas Dion, Adam Lange and Trisha Lange.  Wanda also leaves her great-granddaughter Savannah Nympha, her brother Thadeus "Teddy" Devanski of Florida, and her sister Roseann Smith of Florida. Calling Hours will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2021 from 10 AM - 12 Noon in the Cebula Funeral Home Chapel, 66 South Street, Ware.  Wanda will be laid to rest with Prayers of Committal following the calling hours at 12:30 PM in St. Mary's Cemetery (St. Adalbert Section).  In lieu of flowers, please make contributions in memory of Wanda to the Dementia Society of America by mail to P.O.
